BEAUTY OF JOSEON Relief Sun Rice & Probiotics SPF50+ PA++++ is a light but very reliable sunscreen that feels pleasantly light on the skin and is neither sticky nor whitens.

30% fermented rice and grain extracts provide the skin with lasting moisture and anti-aging nutrients. The sunscreen is perfect as a primer under BB Cream or make up, as it evens the skin and refines pores.

How much sunscreen do I need to apply?

For the face use a fingertip amount, for the body use the amount of half a palm.

How long before sunbathing do I apply my Sunblock?

Sunblock needs 30 minutes to take full effect. Apply it accordingly before sunbathing. Exposed areas such as the face, décolleté, neck and hands require particularly intensive sun care. Renew your Sunblock at least every three hours, and more often in the midday heat.

What is the difference between physical (organic) and chemical sunblock?

Physical protection from the sun forms a thin protective layer on the skin and reflects the sun's radiation, while chemical sunblock absorbs and neutralizes the sun's radiation.

What are the advantages of physical sunblock?

Physical protection from the sun is usually hypoallergenic and suitable even for sensitive children's skin. It adheres particularly well to the skin, which is why it often "whitens," meaning a white film can be seen on the skin. Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide reflect harmful solar radiation and do not allow it to penetrate the skin in the first place.

What are the advantages of chemical sunblock?

Chemical sunblock adheres to the skin light as air, is not sticky and does not leave a white film.

What do SPF and PA mean for Sunblocks?

The sun protection factor of a sunblock is expressed in SPF and PA.

The SPF (Sun Protection Factor) indicates the protection from UVB radiation, which does not penetrate deeply and can cause superficial damage such as painful sunburn and, in extreme cases, skin cancer.

The PA or PPD (UVA Protection and Persistent Pigment Darkening) value defines the protection from age-defying UVA radiation. UVA rays penetrate deep into the skin layers and are responsible for the development of wrinkles and age spots. The PA value of a suncream indicates how much longer the skin needs to tan compared to unprotected skin. PA++ means that the skin can be exposed to the sun up to 8 times longer than unprotected skin without becoming darker. PA+++ means up to 16 times longer, PA++++ means 17 times longer and more than without protection.
