THE SAEM Eco Earth Waterproof Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++ reliably protects the skin from harmful UV radiation and provides additional anti-aging and brightening care.
The waterproof Sunstick glides delicately over the skin, leaving a fresh, powdery finish without stickiness or white haze.
Valuable plant extracts provide moisture and soothe stressed skin.
Dermatologically tested also for sensitive skin.
Application:
Apply as a final skincare step before makeup; The Sunstick allows you to refresh your sun protection on the go without using your hands.
Ideal amount of sunscreen:
For the face, a fingertip amount; for the body, the amount of half a palm.
Ideal time for sun protection:
To ensure perfect sun protection, reapply it every three hours.
The sunscreen needs 30 minutes to take full effect.
Apply it especially carefully to areas that are most exposed to the sun, such as the forehead, cheeks, under the eyes and on the bridge of the nose.
Difference between physical and chemical sunblock:
  • Physical / Organic Sunblock: Forms a thin protective layer, reflects UV rays, is hypoallergenic and has extra strong adhesive power.
  • Chemical Sunblock: Absorbs and neutralizes UV radiation, has a fresh, light texture, is non-sticky and does not leave a white finish
Importance of SPF and PA in sun protection:
  • SPF protects against UVB radiation (sunburn): UVB radiation does not penetrate deep layers of skin, but causes sunburn and irritation
  • PA protects against UVA radiation: UVA radiation penetrates the skin and causes wrinkles, pigmentation and skin cancer; The PA value of a sunblock indicates the protection against UVA radiation, the "+" indicates the PPD value of the sunblock (persistent pigment darkening, i.e. how much slower the skin darkens compared to unprotected skin)
