TNX (short for The New Six) is a South Korean K-pop group of the fourth K-pop generation under the label P Nation, which was formed in 2021 in the wake of the survival show Loud. The group consists of six members: Taehun, Kyungjun, Hyunsoo, Junhyeok, Hwi, and Sungjun. TNX released their first EP Way Up on 17 May 2022.
The name, TNX, stands for "The New Six" and refers to the six members of the group.
TNX was formed through the SBS reality survival show Loud, which was organised by the music labels JYP Entertainment and P Nation. In the programme, J.Y. Park and Psy collaborated with the aim of forming two Kpop boy groups: one under JYP Entertainment and another under P Nation. A total of 75 candidates from different countries competed for a place in one of the two groups. The show premiered on 5 June 2021 and aired every Saturday at 9pm KST on SBS. At the time of the show's finale, the group consisted of seven members, but on 24 January 2022 it was announced that Koki Tanaka had left the group. This was due to fears that he (aged 13 at the time) was too young to debut. Instead, he remains a trainee under P Nation.
On 29 March 2022, the name of the group, TNX (The New Six), was announced. Their first EP Way Up with the lead single Move was released on 17 May 2022.
