When a "bum" plagues the city, seven bum hunters take up arms to fight back.
It's time to hunt the bum!
HYBE's original story "7FATES: CHAKHO," developed and produced by HYBE, a global entertainment and lifestyle platform company, and serialized on Naver Webtoon, is now available in paperback. "7FATES: CHAKHO" is an urban fantasy drama about the battle between humans and bears and the fate of seven boys in the corrupt city of Sinsi in the near future. It is based on the motifs of "bum" and "bear" from Korean folklore and the "Chakho Gaksa," the bum hunting squad of the Joseon Dynasty.
Produced in collaboration with the world's most popular artist, BTS, the film was released simultaneously in 10 languages for the first time in the industry, accumulating over 15 million views worldwide within two days of its release and topping the "Trending Now" charts on Naver Webtoon's English-language platform, WEBTOON. Thanks to this reader response, the first volume is being released simultaneously in Korea and North America. The QR code for "Stay Alive (Prod. SUGA of BTS)," the OST of "7FATES: CHAKHO," has been integrated into the series so that readers can enjoy the work along with the artist's music.
