THE SAEM Eco Earth Waterproof Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++ reliably protects the skin from harmful UV radiation and provides additional anti-aging and brightening care.
The waterproof sun stick glides gently over the skin, leaving a fresh, powdery finish without stickiness or a white cast.
Valuable plant extracts moisturize and soothe stressed skin.
Dermatologically tested even for sensitive skin.
Application:
Apply as the last step in your skincare routine before makeup; the sun stick allows for on-the-go reapplication of sun protection without using your hands.
Ideal amount of sunscreen:
For the face, a fingertip amount; for the body, an amount equivalent to half a palm.
Ideal time for sun protection:
To ensure perfect sun protection, it should be reapplied every three hours.
Sun protection needs 30 minutes to become fully effective.
Apply it particularly carefully to areas most exposed to the sun, such as the forehead, cheeks, under the eyes, and on the bridge of the nose.
Difference between physical and chemical sunblock:
- Physical / Organic Sunscreen: Forms a thin protective layer, reflects UV radiation, is hypoallergenic, and has extra strong adherence
- Chemical Sunscreen: Absorbs and neutralizes UV radiation, has a fresh, light texture, is non-sticky, and leaves no white finish
Meaning of SPF and PA in sun protection:
- SPF protects against UVB radiation (sunburn): UVB radiation does not penetrate deep skin layers but causes sunburn and irritation
- PA protects against UVA radiation: UVA radiation penetrates the skin and causes wrinkles, pigmentation, and skin cancer; the PA value of a sunblock indicates protection against UVA radiation, the "+" denotes the PPD value of the sunblock (persistent pigment darkening, i.e., how much slower the skin darkens compared to unprotected skin)
